Account Administrator – Savannah, Ga

We are currently seeking an Account Administrator for our Savannah Location. Primary responsibilities include scheduling inbound and outbound shipments, data entry of shipping/receiving documents, providing excellent customer service, and invoicing customers.

 

Essential Duties:

•Accurately process inbound and outbound paperwork in a timely manner. This includes confirming the accuracy of data entry, reconciling the system, output to the customer’s documents, and ensuring that all special requests are appropriately addressed and followed through.

•Timely and accurately invoice customers for receiving, outbound processing, month end billing, and all special requests and services.

•Make sure that all customers’ queries are well investigated and resolved, and escalate queries if appropriate to manager.

•Serve as liaison between warehouse personnel and customer. Resolve problems as they occur and ensure that accurate and complete information is conveyed to all.

•Write and complete accurate business correspondence to customers and team.

•Apply professional, polite telephone communication skills.

•Apply extraordinary customer service in a courteous, efficient and professional manner.

 

Qualifications:

•Ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years experience in an administrative position, preferably in a warehouse environment. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Strong alphanumeric data entry experience preferred. Logistics experience of any kind is a huge plus!

Warehouse Operations Manager – Savannah Operations

We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operation Manager for our Savannah Location. Primary responsibilities include directing the daily activities of the warehouse, including labor scheduling, supervision and proper utilization of space and equipment.

 

Duties:

•Maintains an effective operation that minimizes cost and ensures optimal space utilization.

•Plans and schedules all distribution services including receiving, storing, shipping, maintenance, administrative activities, and human resources to ensure customer and company requirements are met.

•Directs warehouse personnel to achieve prescribed company objectives and applies sound communication with staff and upper management.

•Ensures accurate and timely preparation, processing, distribution and retention of all necessary reports and records regarding warehouse operations to include customer invoicing.

•Monitors company policies to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment and property to include cleanliness, working conditions, and repairs.

•Performs inventory counts to make certain of accurate control and security.

•Ensures that customer orders are picked and shipped in a timely fashion.

•Communicates with customers and maintains a close relationship to ensure goals are being met.

 

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

•A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution, operations or service-related environment.

 

Required Skills and Abilities

•Must be computer proficient.

•Must possess intermediate math skills, ability to compute ratios and percentages, and draw and interpret graphs.

•Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Operations Supervisor (Service)

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for all daily operations in the most cost effective and customer satisfying manner by leading and coaching a high performance team. The Operations Supervisor will coordinate and professionally supervise the materials operation, oversee inventory counts to assure correct inventory is available to fulfill the line requirements, have an understanding of Big Box processes and flow, assure FIFO process is utilized, maintain quality performance objectives and assist in cost control programs. Potential candidate must be well versed in safety and compliance issues.


Essential Functions and Basic Duties:

• Provide effective training to employees in proper material handling and work methods, and monitor employee productivity and quality of work in their assigned area.

• Remain current with part changes and operating procedures within assigned area.

• Assist in managing inventory levels to prevent gains and losses and aid in disposition of obsolete materials.

• Maintain an effective operation that minimizes cost and ensures optimal space utilization.

• Plan and schedule all distribution services including receiving, storing, shipping, maintenance, administrative activities, and human resources to ensure customer and company requirements are met.

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation, processing, distribution and retention of all necessary reports and records regarding warehouse operations. Must ensure accurate billing and invoicing is compliant with company standards.

• Communicate with customers and maintain a close relationship to ensure goals are being met.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. A minimum of 2-5 years supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution, operations or service-related environment.
